Join us for a Zoom info session about our DNP program, an efficient, affordable program that allows nurses who have earned either a BSN or generalist MSN degree to achieve the highest level of nursing practice with no clinical experienced required (you can come right after earning a BSN).
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program—for future nurse practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists—empowers nurses to practice at the highest clinical level. In addition to diagnosing, making treatment decisions, ordering tests, and prescribing medications, these advanced practice nurses also lead people and teams and improve systems and safety. They occupy roles in academia, as nurse administrators, government leaders, teachers and professors, and chief nursing officers.

UVA School of Nursing offers:
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program
Two pathways: a BSN to DNP or an MSN to DNP

-In-person class about 6x/semester and the rest of learning completed online
